Renderings by DHD Architecture and Interior Design have revealed their proposed six-story rooftop addition to a five-story building at 37-06 36th Street, in Long Island City, Queens. The images depict a slick metal façade, matching the painted black of the bricks on the lower floors, while contrasting with the white-red design of the existing structure.
Permits have been filed for a six-story mixed-use building at 7508 Bay Parkway in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Two subway stations are about a dozen blocks away from the site. The Bay Parkway Station is serviced by the D train, and Kings Highway Station is serviced by the N, Q, and W trains.
Permits have been filed by an anonymous LLC for a five-story residential building at 1730 Edison Avenue, in The Bronx’s Middletown-Pelham Bay. The location is situated less than a block away from the Buhre Avenue Subway Station, serviced by the 6 train. The subway stop is the second-to-last for the 6 train in the borough. The area surrounding the MTA facility is densely populated with retail storefronts.
Permits have been filed for a six-story community facility at 2064 Boston Road, in The Bronx’s West Farms neighborhood. The site is close to the Bronx River, and surrounded by green space, which runs through the Bronx Zoo and New York Botanical Garden. The West Farms Square-East Tremont Avenue Subway Station is two blocks away, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains.

Stern Architects-designed 250 West 81st Street as it was just climbing above street level, at West 81st Street and Broadway, on the Upper West Side. New renderings for the project have since appeared, giving a substantially better view of what the classically-minded new development will look like, and the pace of construction has also picked up, as per the latest photos from Chused.
