Permits have been filed for a residential building at 422 West 49th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, Manhattan. The site is located in the heart of the neighborhood, equally two and a half avenues from Times Square and the Hudson River. Mortar ARCH + DEV will be responsible for the development and design.
Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 25-28 30th Drive in Astoria, Queens. The site is five blocks away from the 30th Avenue subway station, serviced by the N and W trains. Developers are Salvatore Lucchese and Philip Loria with The L Group.
Two weeks ago, YIMBY reported on plans to build a 40-story mixed-use tower on the wedge-shaped 570 Fulton Street lot in Downtown Brooklyn. Renderings have now surfaced of the proposal, and though they are low in quality, they still reveal quite a lot about the project. The proposition would be a good step forward for Brooklyn’s densification, and the new office space will help ameliorate the Borough’s residential imbalance.
Today YIMBY has the reveal for the first renderings of 962-966 Bushwick Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The project will create two structures to each side of Calvary and Saint Cyprian’s Church, which is to remain an active place of worship following the development’s completion. Royalton Capital is behind the project.
Leasing is now underway at Twenty Broad Street, a 29-story rental development designed by CetraRuddy Architecture. With full completion imminent, the apartments join an expanding list of new or converted residential buildings in the city’s evolving Financial District.
