The Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) is now reviewing proposals to replace all existing windows at 260 West End Avenue, a 15-story cooperative building in Lincoln Square, Manhattan. Skyline Windows, a Bronx-based company, will oversee design, manufacturing, and installation of the proposed window system.
Developer Columbia Property Trust has completed the first phase in its ongoing redevelopment at 95 Columbus in Jersey City. Located at 95 Christopher Columbus Drive in the Grove Street neighborhood, the office building designed by Spectorgroup yields 680,000 square feet.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2692 Creston Avenue, an eight-story residential building in Fordham, The Bronx. Designed by Gerald J. Caliendo, the structure yields 19,111 square feet and 16 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $63,429 to $167,570.
Curtain wall installation is getting closer to completion on 181 Mercer Street, NYU‘s new 750,000-square-foot building in Greenwich Village. Designed by Davis Brody Bond and KieranTimberlake, the development consists of three towers rising from a full-block podium between Houston, Mercer, and Bleecker Streets and I.M. Pei’s University Village complex.
Hudson Square is now home to ‘Restorative Ground,’ a temporary public art installation and pavilion designed by WIP Collaborative. The installation is located on King Street between Hudson and Greenwich Streets and arrives as part of the local community’s participation in New York City’s Open Streets Program.
