Three buildings are on the rise at 760, 764 and 767a Bergen Street between Grand and Washington Avenues, on one of the busiest blocks for new construction in the Crown and Prospect Heights borderlands.
As the Rabsky Group plans to rezone an industrial swath of Williamsburg’s Broadway Triangle for a huge residential development, other landlords are converting the area’s commercial buildings to apartments and retail. Schlomo Landau has filed alteration applications to expand a two-story storefront at 687 Flushing Avenue to a nine-story apartment building.
Late last year, YIMBY revealed renderings of Silverstein Properties’ and Elad Group’s 42-story, 362-unit mixed-use building being developed at 1 West End Avenue, in Lincoln Square, and now the building is four stories above street level, courtesy of Tectonic, per Curbed. The building will feature retail space on the ground floor and a portion of the basement level, followed by 116 below-market rate apartments on the second through seventh floors. Up top, there will be 246 condominiums, with the first renderings surfacing for those back in June.
Last April, YIMBY reported foundation work was underway at 267 Rogers Avenue, in western Crown Heights, where Heights Advisors is developing a five-story, 165-unit residential building, and now the structure is three floors above the street level, per Curbed. Units will average a rental-sized 679 square feet. Think Architecture and Design is the architect of record, and completion is slated for later this year.
Last week, YIMBY revealed the Loketch Group’s planned expansion at 207 South 3rd Street in Williamsburg. And now the Midwood-based firm has filed plans for a new apartment building at 803 Wyckoff Avenue in Ridgewood, just over the border from Bushwick.
