Farm Development, led by Moshik Regev, has filed applications for a trio of three-story, three-unit residential buildings spanning the lots of 196-24 – 196-28 91st Avenue, in Hollis, east of Jamaica.
Curbed spotted the façade being installed at Realty Within Reach’s eight-story, 147-unit residential building under construction at 505 St. Marks Avenue, in western Crown Heights. Completion is expected this spring, but summer will likely be more realistic, and Issac & Stern is designing.
Commercial Observer reports that owner Bahram Benaresh plans to convert the currently vacant six-story building at 175 Franklin Street, in Tribeca, into luxury residential units with ground-floor retail space. Industrial and Commercial Bank of China has refinanced a $10.3 million loan for the property, and a construction time has not been disclosed.
LYXZ Property Inc. has filed applications for a three-story, six-unit residential building measuring nearly 5,600 square feet at 12-08 30th Drive, in western Astoria. John C. Chen is designing, and an existing single-story garage structure recently passed pre-demolition inspection.
Back in February of 2014, YIMBY reported on permits for the two residential towers rising next to the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, on Amsterdam Avenue and 113th Street (with an official address of 1047 Amsterdam Avenue). An on-site rendering offered a glimpse at the design, and zoning diagrams showed the overall configuration, but YIMBY can now reveal the full project, designed by Handel Architects.
