Renderings from S. Wieder Architect offer a first look at a new seven-story mixed-use building in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Located at 2708 Snyder Avenue, the corner property will eventually contain 105 rental apartments, two stories of commercial space, and a 53-vehicle parking garage.
Permits have been filed for a six-story residential building at 170-13 89th Avenue in Jamaica, Queens. Located between 170th Street and 171st Street, the lot is a short walk to the 169th Street subway station, serviced by the E and F trains. Karmul Khan under the Dawn of Jamaica LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Excavation is getting deeper at 451 Tenth Avenue in Hudson Yards, site of a 580-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper from Handel Architects. Bryan Cho of Related Companies filed permits in early June 2019 for the 44-story building, which will rise directly to the north of 66 Hudson Boulevard, Bjarke Ingels‘ supertall known as The Spiral. A great deal of earth has been excavated from the lot, a former parking lot located between West 35th and 36th Streets and Tenth Avenue and Hudson Boulevard. Spitzer Enterprises is co-developing alongside Related.
The brick envelope of 292 Fifth Avenue is reaching the final stories of the 21-story mixed-use hotel. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architect and developed by Sam Chang, the project is located between West 30th and 31st Streets on the border of both Koreatown and NoMad. The property is set to yield 16 residential units and a hotel operated by Le Meridien.
Toll Brothers City Living recently debuted a collection of model residences at Hudson Tea, a new condominium building at 1425 Hudson Street in Hoboken, New Jersey. The project was designed by Marchetto Higgins Stieve with interiors by INC Architecture Design.
