Camber Property Group and RiseBoro Community Partnership recently announced the groundbreaking for 1601 DeKalb Avenue, a $75 million affordable housing project in Bushwick, Brooklyn. When construction completes in December 2025, the development plans to boast 127 affordable housing units, 45 of which will be specifically aimed at providing stable housing and supportive services to young families.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1010 Bedford Avenue & 263 Skillman Street, a seven-story residential building in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Developed by Loketch Group, the structure yields 36 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are seven units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $119,486 to $227,630.
Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 3046 Decatur Avenue in Norwood, The Bronx. Located between East Mosholu Parkway North and East 204th Street, the lot is within walking distance of Norwood subway station, serviced by the D train. Lin Kumbullaj of Kiri Construction Corp. is listed as the owner behind the applications.
New renderings have been revealed for Lorimer House, an eight-story mixed-use building at 265 Lorimer Street in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by ODA, which also will serve as landscape architect, and developed by Joyland Management, Meral Property Group, and Loketch Group, the 85-foot-tall, 318,400-square foot structure will yield 270 rental units in studio- to two-bedroom layouts including some with private outdoor space, as well as a set of 66 rental homes called the Copper Lofts, ground-floor commercial space, and more than 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor amenities. Durukan Design is the landscape designer for the project, which is located on a formerly vacant plot bound by Boerum Street to the north, Broadway to the south, and Lorimer Street to the east.
National development and management company BXP has announced the opening of YETI’s first New York City flagship storefront at 200 Fifth Avenue in Flatiron, Manhattan. The outdoor products supplier will occupy 6,614 square feet across two floors in the building, which is located in a highly trafficked area directly across from Madison Square Park.
