When complete, the project will stand 75 feet tall and boast five condominium units across eight floors. The project was designed by Bowerbird Architects and is being developed by Harpia, a Brooklyn-based company with a focus on sustainability and impact investing.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 779 Flatbush Avenue, a seven-story mixed-use building in Flatbush, Brooklyn. Designed by Eric Safyan Architect and developed by 779 Flatbush Propco LLC, the structure yields 27 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $80,572 to $165,230.
Permits have been filed for a four-story residential building at 103 Vanderveer Street in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Located between Bushwick Avenue and The Evergreens Cemetery, the lot is near the Bushwick Avenue-Aberdeen Street subway station, serviced by the L train. Anthony Colella of Anjonic Real Estate is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Structural work is nearing completion on Domino Square, a one-acre park at 320 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Designed by Studio Cadena and developed by Two Trees, the new public space is envisioned as a flexible outdoor venue for farmers’ markets, community gatherings, summer movie nights, arts and cultural performances, and seasonal ice skating. 316 Kent Construction is the general contractor for the project, which is positioned between The Refinery at Domino to the north, Selldorf Architect’s two-tower One Domino Square residential complex to the south, Kent Avenue to the east, and River Street to the west. James Corner Field Operations is the landscape designer.
The Yonkers Industrial Development Agency recently finalized its approval for financial incentives to support the construction of Teutonia Hall, a residential development consisting of two 41-story towers at 4 Buena Vista Avenue in Yonkers. Designed by S9 Architecture and developed by AMS Acquisitions, the $458 million project will yield 906 residential units, with 91 reserved for affordable housing, as well as 2,900 square feet of ground-floor retail space and a 907-vehicle parking garage within the six-story podium at the base of the towers.
