Foundations are progressing for Journal Squared Tower 3, a 60-story residential skyscraper and the final component in the three-building complex in Journal Square, Jersey City. Designed by HWKN Architecture and Handel Architects and developed by Kushner Real Estate Group and National Real Estate Advisors, the structure will yield 600 rental apartments on a plot bound by Pavonia Avenue to the north and Summit Avenue to the east. Tower 3 will feature the same architectural design as its siblings, with a tight window grid and white paneling, and will stand as the second-tallest in the group.
Construction is nearing topping out on 32 Oakland Avenue, a 15-story residential building in Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by Michels & Waldron Associates, the 446,917-square-foot structure will yield 297 residential units and 58,266 square feet of office space spread over two floors, as well as an automated parking garage with a capacity of 181 vehicles. The property is rising from a large plot at the corner of Oakland Avenue and Washburn Street.
Xin Development Group has closed on a $45 million inventory loan for The Oosten Condominiums in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The owner and developer will use the inventory loan to pay off remaining construction loans secured to finance completion of the property.
