CityPickle, a New York-based pickleball company, has been selected by New York City Parks for the revitalization of Brooklyn Anchorage Plaza in Brooklyn Heights, Brooklyn. The 60,000-square-foot area, located beneath the Brooklyn Bridge, consists of three sections: Old Fulton Street Yard, Washington Street Yard, and Ash Alley. CityPickle plans to invest $2 million into the revitalization project, and work is expected to begin in 2025.

Renderings have been revealed for The Henry Residences, an 18-story residential building under construction at 211 West 84th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects with Hill West Architects as the architect of record and developed by Naftali Group, which purchased the property for $71 million in 2022, the 209-foot-tall structure will span 154,598 square feet and yield 45 condominium units with an average scope of 3,371 square feet, as well as 2,898 square feet of ground-floor retail space, a cellar level, and 17 enclosed parking spaces. The building has nearly 250 feet of frontage along West 84th Street from the corner of Broadway to the middle of the block.

Casa Celina Completes Construction at 1810 Watson Avenue in Soundview, The Bronx

Construction is complete on Casa Celina, a 16-story affordable housing building at 1810 Watson Avenue in Soundview, The Bronx. Named for Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s mother Celina Báez, the structure offers 204 affordable apartments targeted at older adults. It was built in collaboration between Xenolith Partners, The Kretchmer Companies, ELH Management, and JASA, and was designed by Magnusson Architecture and Planning.
