Plans to renovate and expand the ACME Smoked Fish Factory and Warehouse in Greenpoint, Brooklyn will officially proceed following approval from the New York City Council.
Permits have been filed for a nine-story mixed-use building at 2069 Bruckner Boulevard in Unionport, The Bronx. Located between Pugsley Avenue and Olmstead Avenue, the interior lot is near the Parkchester subway station, serviced by the 6 train. Guido Subotovsky under the Bruckner Affordable Owner LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Façade installation is nearing completion on One Clinton, a 409-foot-tall mixed-use tower at 280 Cadman Plaza West in Brooklyn Heights. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Hudson Companies, the 36-story, 295,000-square-foot structure will yield 134 residential units, a 9,000-square-foot STEM research center, and One Clinton Street Library, a new public library to replace the former Brooklyn Heights Library that once stood on the site. One Clinton sits on a narrow triangular plot bound by Clinton Street and Cadman Plaza West.
The Hudson Companies has partnered with two of New York City’s largest municipal pension funds to build new work force housing in the five boroughs and Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Putnam, Orange, and Rockland counties. In collaboration with the New York City Employees’ Retirement System, and the Teachers’ Retirement System of the City of New York, the investment is valued at $250 million.
