New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Façade installation is progressing on 270 West 96th Street, a 23-story residential building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Fetner Properties, the 235-foot-tall structure will yield 171 rental units with 68 dedicated to affordable housing, and 8,961 square feet of community facility space. Urban Atelier Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located between West End Avenue and Broadway.
Jolie on Greenwich, a 500-foot-tall, 42-story condominium tower at 77 Greenwich Street has achieved LEED Silver-certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Located in Manhattan’s Financial District, the tower was developed by Trinity Place Holdings and designed by FXCollaborative.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for Sunrose Tower, a 28-story mixed-use building at 620 West 153 Street in Hamilton Heights, Manhattan. Designed by J Frankl Architects, the structure yields 238 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 72 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $80,572 to $187,330.
Permits have been filed for a 21-story shelter and community services building at 215 East 45th Street in Midtown East, Manhattan. Located between Second and Third Avenues, the lot is a short walk to Grand Central subway station, serviced by the 4, 5, 6, and 7 trains. Nonprofit organization Project Renewal currently operates the City-owned women’s shelter in the seven-story building on the site. The City is using the ULURP process to deliver the site to Project Renewal, who will be the owner of the site when the financing is closed at the end of this year.
