The Treadwell Nears Completion At 249 East 62nd Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Construction is nearing completion on The Treadwell, a 28-story residential tower at 249 East 62nd Street in the Treadwell Farm Historic District of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by INC Architecture & Design and developed by Dart Interests, the 347-foot-tall Art Deco-inspired building will yield 66 condominium units in studio to three-bedroom layouts with prices ranging from $1 million to $4.5 million. Brown Harris Stevens Development is managing sales and marketing for the homes, SLCE Architects is the executive architect, CM & Associates is the general contractor, and Zeckendorf Development is the co-development manager of the project, which stands near the corner of Second Avenue and East 62nd Street.

141 North 6th Street Progresses in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Construction is progressing on 141 North 6th Street, a five-story mixed-use building in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The structure will yield 12 residential units, a cellar level, and 3,827 square feet of ground-floor retail space with 40 feet of frontage and 20-foot ceiling heights. North 6th 141 LLC is the owner, Olmstead Real Estate is in change of retail leasing, and G. Lebedowitz Corp. is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot between Bedford Avenue and Berry Street.

YIMBY toured The Wales, a newly converted 11-story condominium building at 1295 Madison Avenue in the Carnegie Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Developed and owned by Adellco, which purchased the site from LJ Real Estate Capital Partners in 2018 for $56.3 million, along with Parisian design studio PINTO, the historic building features a collection of 21 condominium units and accompanying amenity spaces. Form4 Design Studio and Higgins Quasebarth designed the renovations and upper two-story expansion, and Press Builders served as the general contractor for the property, which was formerly known as Hotel Wales and stands at the corner of Madison Avenue and East 92nd Street. Condominium closings commenced back in March with residences priced from $3.59 million to $21.5 million for the penthouse.

38-27 32nd Street’s Exterior Progresses in Long Island City, Queens

Exterior work is progressing on 38-27 32nd Street, a ten-story residential building in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by NY Building Associates and developed and built by Yitzchok Katz of Developing NY State under the 39th Ave Equity LLC, the 100-foot-tall structure is being built in tandem with 38-38 32nd Street, a nine-story building next door, and will yield 52 rental units spanning 48,000 square feet and 33 enclosed parking spaces. The site was once home to the Cyril Weinberg Day Habilitation Center, a two-story adult day care center for those with developmental disabilities, and is bound by 33rd Street to the east, 39th Avenue to the south, and 32nd Street to the west.

Greenburger Center Finalizes $13 Million Deal for Hope House in Crotona, The Bronx

This initiative culminates a decade-long effort.

134 Vanderbilt Avenue Rises Above Street Level in Fort Greene, Brooklyn

Construction is rising on 134 Vanderbilt Avenue, an eight-story mixed-use building in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Designed by executive architect Kane AUD and design architect SO-IL and developed by Tankhouse, the 85-foot-tall structure will span 89,847 square feet and yield 26 condominiums with an average scope of 1,269 square feet, as well as 3,159 square feet of commercial space, two cellar levels, a 30-foot-long rear yard, and 18 enclosed parking spaces. KSK Construction Group, LLC is the general contractor for the property, which is located at the corner of Vanderbilt and Myrtle Avenues.

38-38 32nd Street’s Exterior Takes Shape in Long Island City, Queens

Designed by NY Building Associates and developed and built by Yitzchok Katz of Developing NY State under the 39th Ave Equity LLC, the 103-foot-tall structure will span 43,904 square feet and yield 64 rental units with an average scope of 680 square feet, as well as 25 enclosed parking spaces on the ground level and 381 square feet of commercial space. The formerly vacant property is bound by 39th Avenue to the south, 32nd Street to the east, and 31st Street to the west.
