Located between Lenox Road and Linden Boulevard, the interior lot is three blocks north of the Church Avenue subway station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Solomon Schwimmer under the Nostrand Heights LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Work is several floors above street level and rising at 9 DeKalb Avenue, a 1,066-foot-tall residential skyscraper in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by SHoP Architects and developed by JDS, 73-story structure will become the first supertall in Brooklyn and the outer boroughs.
The New York korea Center has finally begun to rise at 122-126 East 32nd Street in Murray Hill. The Midtown site, which is located between Lexington Avenue and Park Avenue South, had sat dormant since excavation was completed following the official groundbreaking ceremony in June 2018. The project is designed by Samoo Architects and Engineers (SAMOO) and developed by Level Group. The Consulate General of the Republic of Korea, NY, purchased the property for $15.8 million in March 2008, including the use of nearly 4,500 square feet of air rights.
Renderings were recently revealed for 171 Throop Avenue, a 93-unit mixed-use building in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The development, which will be financed in part by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, will include community facilities and recreational amenity space.
Work has yet to begin at 75 West Broadway, aka 61 Warren Street, a ten-story, 120-foot-tall residential building in Tribeca. The property has sat relatively quiet since YIMBY checked in last summer. Located along West Broadway between Warren Street and Murray Street, the forthcoming project is designed by BKSK Architects and developed by Cape Advisors and Forum Absolute Capital Partners and is set to yield 55,000 square feet.
