64 University Place’s Exterior Nears Completion in Greenwich Village, Manhattan

Exterior work is nearing the finish line on 64 University Place, an 11-story residential building in Greenwich Village, Manhattan. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by Argo Real Estate and Bsafal, the 125-foot-tall structure will span 63,000 square feet and yield 28 condominium units with sales and marketing led by Fredrik Eklund and John Gomes of the The Eklund ǀ Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman Real Estate, as well as a community facility and ground-floor retail space. SPACE Copenhagen is the interior designer, Deborah Nevins is the landscape designer, and CNY Group is the general contractor for the property, which is located between East 10th and East 11th Streets.

Funding Secured For Marcus Garvey Extension Phase 2 In Brownsville, Brooklyn

L+M Development Partners and Osborne Association have finalized a $126 million agreement to advance the Marcus Garvey Extension Phase 2 in Brownsville, Brooklyn. This phase of the project will introduce 178 affordable housing units, with 88 specifically designed as supportive housing for individuals transitioning from incarceration, under the Empire State Supportive Housing Initiative. Osborne Association will facilitate on-site supportive services.

Designed by Newman Design Group and developed by Stagg Group, the structure yields 89 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 27 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $92,572 to $198,250.

The 41-story condominium tower located at 100 Claremont Avenue and West 120th Street on the Union Theological Seminary campus is now complete and available for immediate occupancy. Developed by Lendlease, together with LMXD, an affiliate of L+M Development Partners, and Daiwa House Texas, Inc., Claremont Hall is designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects (RAMSA) with amenity interiors by CetraRuddy Architects.

25-01 Queens Plaza North Nears Topping Out in Long Island City, Queens

Construction is closing in on the parapet of 25-01 Queens Plaza North, a 26-story residential building in Long Island City, Queens. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Grubb Properties, which purchased the property for $63 million in 2021, the 311-foot-tall structure will yield 417 rental units with 124 reserved for affordable housing, as well as 7,600 square feet of ground-floor retail space. 25-01 QPN Consigli Construction is the general contractor, Custom Metalcrafters is supplying the glass façade, DeSimone Consulting Engineering provided structural engineering and facade consulting services, and King Contracting Group will be responsible for installing nearly 125,000 square feet of bricks and CMU blocks for the project, which is located between Crescent and 27th Streets, directly adjacent to the elevated Queensboro Plaza station servicing the 7, N, and W trains.

Designed by INC Architecture & Design with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Global Holdings Management Group, the 281-foot-tall structure spans 180,813 square feet and yields 123 rental units with interiors by The Setting, as well as 20,000 square feet of retail space on the first two levels. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor and DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the façade consultant for the property, which is alternately addressed as 1841 Broadway and located at the corner of Broadway and West 60th Street, just north of Columbus Circle and the southwest corner of Central Park.
