Located at 4-25 Astoria Boulevard in Astoria, Queens, the facility sits inside repurposed shipping containers and was designed in partnership by research teams from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) and The Tuchman Foundation.

Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Arker Companies, the structure yields 65 residences and community facility space. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 44 units for residents at 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $38,263 to $57,300.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story residential building at 130 Beach 120th Street in Rockaway Park, Queens. Located between Rockaway Beach Boulevard and the ocean promenade, the lot is in walking distance of the Rockaway Park – Beach 116th Street subway station, serviced by the A train. Dennis Druzhinsky under the 130 Beach 120 Rockaway LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Occupancy has begun at One Boerum Place, a 22-story residential building in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Avery Hall Investments, Allegra Holdings, and Aria Development Group, the $250 million project yields 96 market-rate rentals designed by Gachot Studios in one- to four-bedroom layouts, as well as a range of indoor and outdoor amenities. Leeding Builders Group served as the general contractor for the property, which is bound by Boerum Place to the west, Fulton Street to the north, and Red Hook Lane to the east.
Following a $1.55 billion renovation, the Jacob K. Javits Center in Midtown, Manhattan now features a one-acre rooftop farm. The working farm is expected to generate up to 40,000 pounds of produce each year.
