One of the last under-developed plots on Williamsburg’s pricey Northside is about to grow a six-story building. Builder Moshe Braver has decided to expand a mid-century brick warehouse at 286 Wythe Avenue, on the corner of North 1st Street, into a 70-foot-tall mixed-use development.

Seven-Story, 45-Unit Residential Building Filed At 242 Newkirk Avenue, Kensington

Property owner Solomon Schwimmer has filed applications for a seven-story, 45-unit residential building at 242-248 Newkirk Avenue, in southern Kensington, three blocks from the F train’s stop at 18th Avenue. The building will measure 30,065 square feet, which means units will average just 668 square feet, indicative of rentals. Rego Park-based Diego Aguilera is the architect of record. A majority of the site is vacant, but the two-story house at 248 Newkirk must first be demolished.

Seven-Story, 21-Unit Residential Building Coming To 925 Atlantic Avenue, Clinton Hill

Brooklyn-based Boaz Gilad has filed applications for a seven-story, 21-unit residential building at 925 Atlantic Avenue, in southern Clinton Hill, located two blocks from the Clinton – Washington Avenues stop on the C train. The building will measure 17,237 square feet in total, and units will average 820 square feet apiece. Upper West Side-based Feingold & Gregory Architects is the applicant of record, and an existing single-story warehouse must first be demolished.
