Tribeca’s Newest Skyscraper Nears Topping-Out at 45 Park Place, in Lower Manhattan

Set to rise 667 feet atop a block that’s now been dubbed part of Tribeca, 45 Park Place is approaching topping-out. Designed by SOMA Architects with Ismael Leyva serving as the executive and residential architect, the tower is being developed by Sharif el-Gamal’s Soho Properties. The new 43-story skyscraper will have interiors designed by Piero Lissoni while sales of the units are being handled by Corcoran Sunshine. The building is now climbing past the 36th floor, where the last major setback on the eastern elevation is located.

Composed of three contemporary towers on the southern side of the Williamsburg Bridge, 420 Kent Avenue is nearing completion of both exterior and interior work. Designed by ODA Architecture, the upcoming triplet of staggered glass boxes are some of the first new buildings to be constructed as part of the residential building boom that has spread across the Williamsburg waterfront. Spitzer Enterprises is the developer of the 550,000 square foot complex, and its 850 rental apartments will soon see move-ins commence. Renderings Revealed for Fogarty Finger Architects’ 387 8th Street, in Jersey City

Forgarty Finger Architecture has unveiled official renderings of a new mixed-use residential building in Jersey City. The rising property is located at 387 8th Street, and sits squarely within the new Enos Jones Redevelopment Plan Area.
