Jolie on Greenwich, a 500-foot-tall, 42-story condominium tower at 77 Greenwich Street has achieved LEED Silver-certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Located in Manhattan’s Financial District, the tower was developed by Trinity Place Holdings and designed by FXCollaborative.
Exterior work is nearing completion on the Mandarin Oriental Residences Fifth Avenue, a 29-story residential tower at 685 Fifth Avenue in Midtown. Designed by Marin Architects and developed by SHVO in partnership with Deutsche Finance, the more than $300 million project involves the construction of a ten-floor addition above a former commercial building and the residential conversion of 100,000 square feet of its office space, and will yield 69 fully furnished condominium units managed by Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and marketed by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing. The Rinaldi Group of New York is the general contractor for the property, which is located between East 53rd and 54th Streets.
Final renderings have been released by StudiosC for Brooklyn Brewery’s new flagship location at 1 Wythe Avenue in Greenpoint‘s New Greenpoint-Williamsburg Industrial Business Zone. The ground-up seven-story construction will be located four blocks north of the brewery’s current 79 North 11th Street address in Williamsburg, and is bound by Banker Street, N 15th Street, and Wythe Avenue.
The Westchester Industrial Development Agency (IDA) has approved $481,562 in additional sales tax exemptions for Ginsburg Development Companies to complete upgrades to ground-floor retail spaces at 50 Main Street, a sprawling mixed-use complex in White Plains.
Finishing touches are underway on Two Manhattan West, a 58-story commercial skyscraper in the Manhattan West master plan in Midtown West. Designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by Brookfield, the 935-foot-tall structure will yield 1.9 million square feet of office space directly to the south of its 996-foot-tall fraternal twin, One Manhattan West. W&W Glass is the facade contractor and AECOM Tishman is the general contractor for the Midtown project, which is located at the northwest corner of West 31st Street and Ninth Avenue, between Hudson Yards to the west and the James A. Farley Building to the immediate east.
