A grand-scale illuminated ‘Welcome’ sign will soon crown 30 Columbia Heights, the former Jehovah’s Witness headquarters in Brooklyn Heights. The welcome sign will be installed at the end of the month in tall red lettering and replace the ‘Watchtower’ sign that stood above the Brooklyn waterfront for nearly 50 years.
Installation of 25 Park Row‘s curtain wall is nearing completion, with only a few portions of the 50-story Financial District skyscraper’s superstructure remaining to be encased. The 702-foot-tall mixed-use tower is designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by L+M Development Partners, along with the family behind J&R Music World. Sales for the 110 residences are ongoing and are being handled by Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.
This week, Related Companies unveiled multiple lighting displays and mural installations located within a mixed-use complex known as The Point LIC in Long Island City, Queens. The development is comprised of public walkways, a landscaped plaza, and two distinct commercial properties known as Paragon and Blanchard.

Located between Third Avenue and Flatbush Avenue, the lot is two blocks north of the Atlantic Avenue-Barclay Center subway station, serviced by the B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. New York City Educational Construction Fund is listed as the owner behind the applications.

Located between Carlton Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue, the lot is two blocks east of the Atlantic Avenue-Barclay Center subway station, serviced by the B, D, N, Q, R, 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains. TF Cornerstone is listed as the owner behind the applications after purchasing the adjacent 595 and 615 Dean Street sites, part of the Pacific Park complex, for $143 million at the beginning of the year. TF Cornerstone is leasing the land from the Empire State Development Corporation, once the construction is complete, the deal will convert to ownership.
