Tishman Speyer has announced chef Erik Ramirez and Juan Correa, the team behind critically acclaimed restaurants Llama San and Llama Inn, will bring a new dining concept to The Spiral at 66 Hudson Boulevard. Located in Hudson Yards, the new restaurant will occupy the ground floor of the tower on the northwest corner at Tenth Avenue and 34th Street.
Developers and elected officials recently celebrated the commencement of construction for Valley National Bank’s new headquarters in Morristown, New Jersey. From SJP Properties and Scotto Properties, the new office building will accommodate more than 660 employees and is expected to debut in spring 2023.
Excavation is underway at 403 East 79th Street, a 30-story medical office building in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Perkins Eastman and developed by Extell Development Company, the structure will yield 400,000 square feet of Class A space, with the Hospital for Special Surgery as the anchor tenant, occupying 200,000 square feet across the first eight levels. Ancora Engineering is the engineer of record and Lendlease is the general contractor for the property, which is alternatively addressed as 1522 First Avenue and is located along First Avenue between East 79th and East 80th Streets.
Permits have been filed for a 40-story office tower at 415 Madison Avenue in Midtown East, Manhattan. Located at the intersection of East 48th Street and Madison Avenue, the lot is within walking distance of the Grand Central subway station, serviced by the 4, 5, 6, and 7 trains. Albert Sanfilippo of Rudin Management is listed as the owner behind the applications which sought special permits through ULURP for the overbuilt floor area for air rights from the landmarked St. Bartholomew’s Church along Park Avenue.
The Rudin Family has closed on a $415 million refinancing deal to complete a multi million-dollar capital improvement program at 3 Times Square in Midtown, Manhattan. Often referred to as the Thomson Reuters Building, the scope of work includes the creation of a new three-story lobby, touchless entry and elevator systems, upgraded elevator cabs, and a new amenity deck on the 16th floor.
