Exterior work is progressing on Park House, an eight-story residential building at 500 West 22nd Street in West Chelsea. Alternately addressed as 197 Tenth Avenue, the 33,662-square-foot structure is designed by Annabelle Selldorf of Selldorf Architects and developed by Brantwood Capital, and will yield ten units and 1,959 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Compass is handling sales and marketing for the homes, which range from one- to four-bedroom units, including two duplex penthouses, with prices ranging from $2.65 million to $12 million. The property is located at the intersection of Tenth Avenue and West 22nd Street, a short distance from the High Line.
Façade installation is progressing on Foster + Partners‘ 50 Hudson Yards, a 1,011-foot commercial supertall in Hudson Yards. Developed by Related Companies and Oxford Properties, the 58-story office skyscraper is the final structure in the first phase of Hudson Yards and is to be the largest structure by volume, yielding 2.9 million square feet. The site is bound by West 34th Street to the north, Tenth Avenue to the east, West 33rd Street to the south, and Hudson Boulevard to the west.
Construction has topped out on 7-9 East 30th Street, a 227-foot-tall residential building in NoMad. Designed by SWA Architecture and developed by Castellan Real Estate Partners, the 23-story project will yield a total of 41,992 square feet split among 54 residences and 2,142 square feet of ground-level retail space. The property is located between Madison and Fifth Avenues.
Exterior work is progressing on The Fifth Avenue Hotel at 250 Fifth Avenue in NoMad. Designed by Perkins Eastman, PBDW Architects, and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio and developed by Flaneur Hospitality, the project involves the construction a 230-foot-tall, 24-story tower and the renovation of the adjacent 116-year-old McKim, Mead & White-designed building.
Construction is nearing completion on 145 West 108th Street, an 11-story mixed-use building on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Dattner Architects and developed by the West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing, the nearly 200,000-square-foot project will yield 199 units for both low-income families and seniors, and an upcoming Valley Lodge facility serving 110 seniors. The property will also include 160,453 square feet of community facility space, a new home for the Central Park Medical Unit, and public restrooms for Anibal Aviles Playground directly adjacent to the east of the structure. A second phase to the east near the end of the block will bring an additional 81 senior living spaces.
