Large Development Assemblage At 143 East 60th Street Placed On Market, Midtown East

World Wide Group has placed an assemblage of buildings, spanning 143-161 East 60th Street, in Midtown East, on the market as a development site for what is being valued north of $300 million, according to Crain’s Business. Six buildings are included in the assemblage, most being townhouses in the four- and five-story range, but an 11-story building exists at No. 155. A 280,000 square-foot residential and retail building could be built, but the tower could be even larger if a developer chooses to satisfy the inclusionary housing bonus.


892 Metropolitan Avenue

Six-Family Building Coming To 892 Metropolitan Avenue, East Williamsburg

Attri Enterprises has filed applications for a four-story, five-unit mixed-use building at 892 Metropolitan Avenue, in East Williamsburg. The building will measure 5,050 square feet, and a 630 square-foot commercial portion will be located on the ground floor. Anthony Cucich is designing, and an old two-story structure was demolished this past January. The zoning lot is undergoing subdivision, and another building may rise at 894 Metropolitan Avenue, where a two-story townhouse was also demolished this past winter.


3052 West 21st Street

Construction Imminent On 5,000-Seat Amphitheater & Restaurant At 3053 West 21st Street, Coney Island

Developer iStar Financial and Coney Island USA have received the go-ahead to begin construction on the vacant but landmarked three-story, nearly 56,300 square-foot building at 3053 West 21st Street, on Coney Island. The structure and an adjacent vacant lot are being converted into a 90,000 square-foot complex featuring a 5,000-seat amphitheater. According to the Commercial Observer, a restaurant is also planned, and the $53 million project is expected to be finished by the middle of 2016.


9 Bashford Street

i.Park Hudson’s 96-Unit Residential Building At 9 Bashford Street Gets Financing, Yonkers

Developer National Resources has received a $14 million construction loan for their planned residential building associated with i.Park Hudson, a mixed-use campus featuring offices, retail and apartments in downtown Yonkers. The residential building, UNO, will measure 70,000 square feet and have 96 units, according to the Commercial Observer. Located at 9 Bashford Street, the existing five-story industrial building will be converted and expanded upon by four stories (based off renderings).


41-14 Haight Street

Six-Unit Mixed-Use Building Filed For 41-14 Haight Street, Downtown Flushing

Tai Song Lin has filed applications for a five-story, six-unit mixed-use building at 41-14 Haight Street, in Downtown Flushing. The building will total 5,500 square feet, and 1,130 square feet is being allotted for community facility space. A health office and a child daycare are in store, according to the Schedule A. Chang Hwa Tan’s Tan Architect is designing, and an existing two-story home must first be demolished.
