The New York City Housing Authority and its partners have reached a significant milestone by closing on a $635.6 million PACT project aimed at renovating 87 buildings in East Brooklyn. This comprehensive initiative will benefit nearly 3,500 residents, providing them with upgraded apartments, public spaces, grounds, and building infrastructure.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for Arris Grand, a nine-story residential building at 445 Grand Avenue in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by KD Sagamore-Ranger Fulton LLC, the structure yields 113 residences, 7,652 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, and a 4,362-square-foot community center for the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 34 units for residents at 80 to 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $55,715 to $198,250.
The 24th-tallest building on our year-end construction countdown is 15 Hanover Place, a 463-foot-tall residential tower nearing completion in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Fogarty Finger and developed by Lonicera Partners, the 34-story structure will span 295,000 square feet and yield 314 apartments, with 95 reserved for affordable housing, as well as 9,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Rabina is the co-developer and Noble Construction Group is the general contractor for the property, which was formerly addressed as 23 Hanover Place and is located at the corner of Livingston Street and Hanover Place.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for Vista65, a 22-story mixed-use building at 97-12 65th Road in Rego Park, Queens. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by RB Realty Capital, the structure yields 186 residences, 53,000 square feet of retail, 41,000 square feet of community facility space, and an 82,000-square-foot parking garage. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 56 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $77,143 to $198,250.
