Today’s housing lottery round-up features eight buildings in Queens, Brooklyn, The Bronx, and Manhattan with available affordable units on Housing Connect with deadlines closing within the next seven days.
Permits have been filed for an eight-story affordable housing development at 34-29 37th Street in Long Island City, Queens. Located between 34th and 35th Avenues, the interior lot is two blocks from the Steinway Street subway station, serviced by the M and R trains. Nelson Leong under the Empire Properties Partners LLC is listed as the owner behind the applications.
The Department of City Planning (DCP) is now reviewing proposals to construct two new affordable housing properties for seniors and a charter school in Arvene, Queens, a waterfront neighborhood on the Rockaway Peninsula. The proposed buildings will take shape along Beach 67th Street between Beach Channel Drive and Thursby Avenue.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 633 Marcy Avenue, an eight-story mixed-use building in Bushwick, Brooklyn. Designed by Salamon Engineering Group, the structure yields 65 residences, ground-floor commercial space, and 18 parking spaces. Available on NYC Housing Connect are six units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $66,858 to $167,570.
