The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1148 Washington Avenue, a four-story residential building in Morrisania, The Bronx. Designed by Asher Hershkowitz Architect and developed by Jacob Jacobs under Dean Street Realty LLC, the structure yields nine residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are eight units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $105,223 to $181,740.

Affordable Housing Development Completes Construction At 117 Guion Place In New Rochelle

Governor Kathy Hochul recently announced the completion of The Renaissance at Lincoln Park, a $96 million affordable housing development located at 521 Pine Brook Road in New Rochelle. The project will boast 179 mixed-income apartments and 356 parking spaces.

Public Review Process Begins For ‘City Of Yes For Housing Opportunity’ Proposal

Available on NYC Housing Connect are 135 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $105,875 to $218,010.

Edgemere Commons Building B1 Tops Out at 5119 Beach Channel Drive in Far Rockaway, Queens

Construction has topped out on Edgemere Commons’ second all-affordable housing structure at 5119 Beach Channel Drive in Far Rockaway, Queens. Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by Tishman Speyer’s TS Communities, the company’s affordable housing development platform, and The Arker Companies and Slate Property Group, the 247,000-square-foot structure will yield 237 rental apartments in studio to three-bedroom layouts, with 36 reserved for the formerly homeless, as well as 8,000 square feet of retail space and 7,500 square feet of community facility space. The building, also know as Edgemere Commons Building B1, is situated between Beach 50th and Beach 53rd Streets.

130 East 177th Street Nears Completion in Mount Hope, The Bronx

Construction is nearing completion on 130 East 177th Street, a 12-story residential building in Mount Hope, The Bronx. Designed by Marin Architects and developed by HMC Inc, a third-party real estate and financial arm of The Postgraduate Center for Mental Health (PCMH), the 123-foot-tall structure spans 55,987 square feet and will yield 78 rental units with an average scope of 674 square feet, as well as 3,390 square feet of community facility space on the ground floor, a cellar level, six enclosed parking spaces, and a 41-foot-long rear yard. CHC Management Group is listed as the owner of the property, which is located between Grand Concourse to the east and Morris Avenue to the west.

201-207 Seventh Avenue Tops Out in Chelsea, Manhattan

Construction has topped out on 201-207 Seventh Avenue, a nine-story residential building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by Amie Gross Architects and developed by New York City’s Department of Housing Preservation and Development under the Chelsea HDFC, the 85-foot-tall structure will span 30,859 square feet and yield 26 affordable co-op units in studio to three-bedroom layouts, as well as 1,828 square feet of retail space divided among three tenants. The property is alternately addressed as 170 West 22nd Street and located at the southeast corner of Seventh Avenue and West 22nd Street.

335 Eighth Avenue Rises Above Street Level in Chelsea, Manhattan

Construction is rising on 335 Eighth Avenue, a seven-story residential building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by COOKFOX Architects and developed by MAG Partners and Mutual Redevelopment Houses, Inc., with financing provided by global holding company Safanad, the structure will span approximately 200,000 square feet and yield 188 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, as well as a 23,000-square-foot Lidl supermarket and additional ground-floor retail space. Thirty percent of the homes will be reserved for affordable housing. The property is located at the corner of Eighth Avenue and West 26th Street within the Penn South affordable housing cooperative, officially known as Mutual Redevelopment Houses.

Designed by Aufgang Architects and developed by The Arker Companies and Slate Property Group, the structure yields 194 affordable apartments, a 23,000-square-foot supermarket, and 133 parking spaces. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 134 units for residents at 30 to 80 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $24,480 to $154,080.
