Camber Property Group Closes on $65 Million in Construction Financing for 100% Affordable Housing Project in Harlem

The development team behind Victory Plaza, a new 100% affordable senior housing project, has successfully closed on $65 million in construction financing to facilitate completion of the project. Located in Harlem at 11 West 118th Street, the building will eventually rise nine stories and comprise 136 rental homes. A total of 41 units will be reserved for the formerly homeless.

COOKFOX-Designed 41 West 23rd Street Begins to Rise Above Ground in Chelsea

With a very small footprint at ground level, the COOKFOX-designed 41 West 23rd Street is starting to rise above a narrow construction site. The tower will stand 322 feet to its rooftop, totaling 25 stories, and featuring a cantilever in its upper half. Anbau Enterprises is the developer of the project, which previously received approval from the Landmarks Preservation Commission due to its slight cantilever on the eastern elevation.

Renderings Revealed for Affordable Housing at 223-227 Vermont Street, East New York, Brooklyn

The New York City Department of Housing Preservation will soon announce the development of a new four-story residential project in the northeast corner of East New York, Brooklyn. The three-block assemblage comprises 223, 225, and 227 Vermont Street, but is currently referred to by the DOB as 223-227 Vermont Street. Today, YIMBY has the exclusive reveal for the renderings.
