Permits have been filed for an 11-story mixed-use building at 97 Glenmore Avenue in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Located at the intersection of Glenmore Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard, the lot is near the Sutter Avenue subway station, serviced by the L train. New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development is listed as the owner behind the applications.
Exterior work is finishing up on One Bell Slip, a 30-story residential tower in Greenpoint, Brooklyn‘s Greenpoint Landing waterfront master plan. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by Brookfield Property Partners and Park Tower Group, the 369-foot-tall reinforced concrete structure will yield 292,029 square feet and 414 residential units, with 124 slated for affordable housing, as well as 992 square feet of commercial space on the lower floors. The tower is being built at the corner of Bell Slip and Commercial Street along Newtown Creek and East River waterfront.
Construction is now underway at 515 Blake Avenue, a large parcel of land in East New York that will eventually support 255 affordable housing units. The HELP ONE project will yield a mix of supportive housing and low-income apartments, and is among Brooklyn’s largest affordable housing projects announced this year.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 2065-2067 Ryer Avenue, a 12-story residential building in Fordham Heights, The Bronx. Designed by Badaly Architect and developed by UA Builders Group, the structure yields 134 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 40 units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $52,766 to $167,570.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for New Roads Plaza, an eight-story community facility building at 485 East 164th Street in Morrisania, The Bronx. Designed by Danois Architects, the structure yields 95 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 37 units for residents at 60 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $39,943 to $77,340.
