Developers and city officials gathered at 117 West 79th Street to celebrate the opening of Park 79, a new affordable housing project for seniors on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. The building contains 77 apartments, on-site supportive and social services, and a collection of indoor and outdoor amenity spaces.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 101 Macombs Place, a seven-story residential building in Harlem, Manhattan. Designed by Fischer + Makooi Architect with YossiG and developed by Mordechai Hirsch, the structure yields 29 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are nine units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $93,909 to $198,250. New tenants get one month of free rent.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 1818 Prospect Avenue, a seven-story residential building in Crotona Park East, The Bronx. Developed by Moses Freund of The Vaja Group and designed by BTE Design Services, the structure yields 46 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are five units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $147,292 to $227,630.
The affordable housing lottery has launched for 360 East 184th Street, a four-story mixed-use building in Fordham Heights, The Bronx. Designed by Node Architecture Engineering Consulting, the structure yields 12 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect are four units for residents at 130 percent of the area median income (AMI), ranging in eligible income from $74,400 to $198,250.
Exterior work continues to progress on Anagram, a 25-story residential tower at 1 West 60th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by INC Architecture & Design with SLCE Architects as the architect of record and developed by Global Holdings Management Group, the 281-foot-tall structure will span 180,813 square feet and yield 123 market-rate and affordable housing units with interiors by The Setting, as well as 20,000 square feet of retail space on the first two levels. Pavarini McGovern is the general contractor and DeSimone Consulting Engineers is the façade consultant for the property, which is alternatively addressed as 1841 Broadway and located at the corner of Broadway and West 60th Street, just north of Columbus Circle and the southwest corner of Central Park.
