The affordable housing lottery is now open for Arthur Avenue Senior Apartments, a nine-story senior living development at 600 East 179th Street in Tremont, The Bronx. Developed by Foxy Management in partnership with Hebrew Home at Riverdale under HPD’s Senior Affordable Rental Apartments program, the 130,000-square-foot building is designed by SLCE Architects and will yield a total 176 units in a mix of studios and one-bedroom units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 122 apartments for senior residents at 30 and 50 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $0 to $51,200.

14-Story Affordable Housing Project Breaks Ground at 1921 Atlantic Avenue in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn

Construction has broken ground at 1921 Atlantic Avenue, a new 144-foot-tall affordable housing project in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. Designed by GF55 Partners, the 14-story residential building will yield 264,520 square feet, with residential amenity spaces, a community center, and a ground-floor supermarket in addition to the 235 units.

22 Chapel Street Tops Out Over Downtown Brooklyn

Construction has topped out at 22 Chapel Street, a 20-story residential building in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by CetraRuddy and developed by Delshah Capital and OTL Enterprises, the 211-foot-tall structure spans 133,181 square feet and will yield 180 apartments, of which 25 will be designated for affordable housing. 22 Chapel Street will also be the home of START Treatment & Recovery Centers, New York’s largest independent drug treatment agency.

The affordable housing lottery is now open for 260 Gold Street, a 13-story residential development in Vinegar Hill, Brooklyn. Developed by Solomon Feder‘s Gold Street Realty Holdings and designed by J Frankl Associates with interiors by Studio C Architects, the building yields a total 286 rental units in a mix of studio and one-, two-, and three-bedroom units. Available on NYC Housing Connect are 86 apartments for residents at 130 percent of the area median income, ranging in eligible income from $76,835 to $183,300.

Supreme Equities recently acquired $16 million in construction financing for a new mixed-use residential building in The Bronx’s Allerton neighborhood. 540 Fulton Street’s Curtain Wall Installation Progresses in Downtown Brooklyn

Façade installation is steadily progressing at 540 Fulton Street, a 511-foot-tall mixed-use skyscraper in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Jenel Management, the project will yield 327 residential units, as well as 71,844 square feet of commercial space and 22,054 square feet of retail on the lower podium floors. The residences will take up about 239,142 square feet of the total 330,00 square feet.

Permits have been filed for a 16-story mixed-use building at 1201 Spofford Avenue in Hunts Point, The Bronx. Located at the intersection of Tiffany Street and Spofford Avenue, the corner lot is closest to the Longwood Avenue subway station, serviced by the 6 train. New York City Economic Development Corporation is developing the building as part of The Peninsula, a multi-building campus that will create 740 affordable housing units, 17,000 square feet of retail, 52,000 square feet of public open space, 56,000 square feet of light industrial space, 53,500 square feet of community facilities, an education center, and multiple health and wellness components.
