One Willoughby Square Begins Ascent Towards 495-Foot Pinnacle in Downtown Brooklyn

Dozens of construction workers are quickly laying steel rebar and concrete for the foundations and lower floors of 1 Willoughby Square in Downtown Brooklyn. Located at 420 Albee Square, the 34-story, 495-foot-tall, 500,000 square foot Class-A office tower is being developed by JEMB and designed by FXCollaborative. It broke ground in February, and sits directly across the street from the City Point residential and retail complex to the west.

New Renderings Released As 77 Greenwich Street Begins Climb in The Financial District

77 Greenwich Street is already at its fourth floor, and now, a new teaser website for the 500-foot, 42-story residential tower has launched, accompanied by fresh renderings. Trinity Place Holdings is developing the ground-up Financial District project, with FXCollaborative serving as the architect. The podium will eventually house a grade school and retail space. Interiors are being designed by Deborah Berke Partners, the same firm who helmed interiors for 432 Park Avenue.

1271 Avenue of the Americas Sheds Old Facade For New Curtain Wall in Midtown Manhattan

Standing just to the north of the iconic XYZ Buildings in Midtown Manhattan, 1271 Avenue of the Americas, aka the Time-Life Building, is currently undergoing a major transformation of its exterior curtain wall, outdoor plaza, landmarked lobby space, and mechanical makeup of the elevators and MEP systems. Built in 1958, Rockefeller Group Development Corporation is bringing the building into the twenty-first century by bringing on Pei Cobb Freed & Partners Architects LLP to helm the refurbishment of the 48-story office tower, which stands 587 feet to its rooftop.

Sales Launch for Greenwich West at 110 Charlton Street, West Soho

Sales have launched for the 30-story tower rising at 110 Charlton Street off the corner of its intersection with Greenwich, which has been officially dubbed Greenwich West. It will stand fairly prominently amongst its neighborhood surrounds, reaching a final height of 290 feet when complete. Strategic Capital, Cape Advisors, and Forum Absolute Capital Partners are the developers for the nearly 226,000 square foot project, which will yield 170 loft-style apartments designed by Paris-based architecture firm Loci Anima, with Adamson Associates serving as architect of record. Interiors are being designed by Sebastien Segers. Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group is handling sales of the units, starting at $965,000, with the first closings expected in early 2020.
