Façade installation is progressing on 135 East 47th Street, a 35-story residential skyscraper, named Monogram New York, in Midtown East. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Navigation Capital Group, the 500-foot-tall structure will yield 191 condominium units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, as well as 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Cauldwell Wingate is in charge of constructing the tower, which is located between Lexington and Third Avenues. Anthology Group is the hospitality partner, while Shanghai-based Neri & Hu is the interior designer.

Excavation Progresses at 126 East 57th Street in Midtown East, Manhattan

Excavation is progressing at 126 East 57th Street, the site of a 28-story residential building on Billionaires’ Row in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by ODA Architecture and developed by MRR Development under the MRR 1326 LLC, the 346-foot-tall structure will yield 147 condominium units spread across 170,000 square feet with interiors by Gabellini Sheppard, as well as 5,000 square feet of lower-level retail space. WSP USA is the engineer and Plaza Buildings is the general contractor for the project, which is being constructed on an L-shaped parcel at the corner of East 56th Street and Lexington Avenue. The narrow panhandle section of the building’s footprint will extend north to East 57th Street. ODA is also in charge of designing the interiors.

Excavation is set to begin at 1305-1307 Third Avenue, the site of a forthcoming residential building in the Lenox Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Developed by EJS Development under the 1303 Third, LLC, which purchased the 8,178-square-foot site for $32.5 million in March 2021, the property has a maximum buildable scope of 75,000 square feet that can be increased to 90,000 square feet with an exclusionary housing bonus. The structure’s architect, floor count, and unit total have yet to be confirmed. Triton Construction Industry is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Third Avenue and East 75th Street.

Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox and developed by Boston Properties, the 844-foot-tall structure will yield 750,400 square feet of office space, ground-floor retail, and multiple cellar levels. Titan Industrial Services is the demolition contractor for the property, which is bound by East 45th Street to the north, East 44th Street to the south, and Madison Avenue to the west.
