Construction is rising at 2551-2555 Broadway, a 22-story residential project on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Located at the corner of Broadway and West 96th Street, the 276,578-square-foot structure is designed by Stephen B. Jacobs Group and is being developed by Extell, which purchased the property for $80 million in a sale facilitated by Eastern Consolidated. The building will yield 215,866 square feet of residential space with 130 units, likely condominiums with an average scope of 1,660 square feet, as well as 9,080 square feet of commercial space.

300 West 30th Street Nears Topping Out in Chelsea, Manhattan

Construction is nearing topping out at 300 West Street, a 16-story mixed-use building in Chelsea. The structure will yield 80 residential units as well as ground-floor retail space. The project is designed by Studio C Architects and developed by Hiwin USA, which purchased the property from Salt Equities in May 2018 for $27.5 million. The site is located at the corner of Eighth Avenue and West 30th Street, a short walk away from number of transit hubs including Penn Station and the newly opened Moynihan Train Hall.

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill and developed by Klövern AB and GDSNY, the structure will yield 105,000 square feet of commercial space leased by CBRE. Triton Construction is the general contractor for the project, which is located at the corner of Seventh Avenue and West 28th Street.

Margaritaville Resort Nears Completion at 560 Seventh Avenue in Times Square, Manhattan

Façade installation is nearing completion on the Margaritaville Resort New York at 560 Seventh Avenue in Times Square. Designed by Stonehill Taylor and developed by Sharif El-Gamal of Soho Properties along with MHP Real Estate Services, the 29-story, 375-foot-tall tower will yield 234 guest rooms with island-inspired interior designs. The project, which is located at the corner of Seventh Avenue and West 40th Street, is expected to cost around $300 million.
