Façade installation is progressing on 164 4th Avenue, a 17-story residential building in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Designed by SBLM Architects and developed by JLL Capital Markets, the 142,000-square-foot structure will yield 160 rental apartments with 30 percent designated as affordable housing, as well as 12,391 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. The 13,840-square-foot site was formerly occupied by a gas station and is located at the corner of 4th Avenue and Douglass Street.

Façade installation is progressing on 625 Fulton Street, a 35-story mixed-use skyscraper in Downtown Brooklyn. Designed by Fischer Rasmussen Whitefield Architects and developed by Rabsky Group with $450 million in construction financing from Madison Realty Capital, the 500-foot-tall structure will yield 1,098 rental units, 26,000 square feet of retail space on the lower levels, and an on-site parking garage for 250 vehicles. The property is alternately addressed as 485 Hudson Avenue and bound by the 34-story 80 DeKalb Avenue to the north, Fulton Street to the south, Rockwell Place to the east, and Hudson Avenue to the west.

New renderings have been revealed for The Delecor, a 31-story residential tower at 250 East 83rd Street in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by The Torkian Group, the 370-foot-tall structure will span 215,608 square feet and yield 128 rental units in one- to four-bedroom layouts, as well as a collection of penthouses and ground-floor retail space. The ground-up property is located at the corner of Second Avenue and East 83rd Street.

The Henry Residences Tops Out At 211 West 84th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side

Construction has topped out on The Henry Residences, an 18-story residential building at 211 West 84th Street on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects with Hill West Architects as the architect of record and developed by Naftali Group, which purchased the property for $71 million in 2022, the 209-foot-tall structure will span 154,598 square feet and yield 45 condominium units with an average scope of 3,371 square feet, as well as 2,898 square feet of ground-floor retail space, a cellar level, and 17 enclosed parking spaces. The building has nearly 250 feet of frontage along West 84th Street from the corner of Broadway to the middle of the city block.

1522 First Avenue’s Façade Nears Completion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side

Façade installation is nearing completion on 1522 First Avenue, a 30-story medical office building in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Perkins Eastman and developed by Extell, the 449-foot-tall structure will yield 400,000 square feet of Class A office space and retail space on the ground floor and cellar levels. The Hospital for Special Surgery will serve as the anchor tenant, occupying 200,000 square feet across the first eight stories of the building. The property is alternately addressed as 403 East 79th Street and is located between East 79th and 80th Streets.
