260 Bowery Tops Out While Interior Work Continues, in Nolita

Work on an 85-foot tall residential development at 260 Bowery has topped out. The 3,700-square-foot building, which is being designed by Morris Adjmi Architects and developed by Premiere Equities, will yield 14,611 square feet. The eight-story structure will contain five apartments, averaging 2,922 square feet apiece. The property is located in Nolita between Houston Street and Stanton Street and sits across from the New Museum. The site, purchased for $10 million several years ago, replaces an old three-story kitchen supply store, as previously reported by Bowery Boogie.

Excavation Begins For One Boerum Place, in Downtown Brooklyn

Excavation has begun for One Boerum Place in Downtown Brooklyn. The upcoming ground-up, mixed-use condominium tower will rise 21 stories on a narrow, triangular-shaped plot of land. The site is bound by Boerum Place, Red Hook Lane, and Fulton Street. SLCE Architects is the designer while Avery Hall Investments, Allegra Holdings, and Aria Development Group are the developers. The joint venture team was recently able to acquire a $165 million construction loan from Jutland Finance. The total cost of One Boerum Place is expected to be around $250 million.

Construction at 130 William Street is two floors from topping out over the Financial District. The upcoming condominium tower is the first project in New York City by Sir David Adjaye of Adjaye AssociatesHill West Architects is the architect of record while Lightstone Group is the developer. The 66-story development will rise 800 feet tall and yield 244 units marketed by Corcoran Sunshine.

Art Deco-Inspired Rose Hill Begins Ascent at 30 East 29th Street in NoMad

Construction on 30 East 29th Street, aka Rose Hill, is moving along quickly in NoMad. Work on the foundations wrapped up in January and now the upcoming 639-foot-tall structure is several floors above street level. The upcoming 49-story project is located between Park Avenue South and Madison Avenue and is being designed by CetraRuddy Architecture and developed by the Rockefeller Group. The residential high-rise will incorporate an Art Deco-inspired design, setting it apart from other neighboring towers rising in the development boom, responsible for changing the skyline south of the Empire State Building.
