Construction on the Hilton Grand Vacation Hotel has topped out at 12 East 48th Street. The 31-story project is being designed by Handel Architects and developed by Hidrock Realty. There will be a total of 161 rooms, an outdoor terrace, and ground-floor retail space. The site was part of a $47 million purchase several years ago. A reinforced concrete structure makes up the frame of the building, which will be clad with white metallic panels.

The site is located on the northern corner of Fourth Avenue and Pacific Street, next to the Atlantic Avenue Barclays Center subway station with access to the 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, and R trains. Pilings and Excavation Begin at 37 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn

Three piling machines and two excavators have been set up at 37 Sixth Avenue in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. The upcoming 343,788-square-foot, mixed-use building will rise 26 stories and bring 323 rental units to the neighborhood. The property sits at the corner of Dean Street and Sixth Avenue and is directly to the east of Barclays Center. Marvel Architects is the designer and the Brodsky Organization is the developer. An updated rendering was also posted on the construction fence. The project is alternately addressed 495 Dean Street and 664 Pacific Street.

TF Cornerstone’s Two-Towered, 1,197-Unit Hunters Point South Project Officially Breaks Ground in Long Island City

The official groundbreaking ceremony for TF Cornerstone‘s two-towered Hunters Point South project in Long Island City will be held today. In addition to over 1,000 new apartments, the site will give rise to what will temporarily become the tallest skyscraper on Queens’ East River waterfront. Fresh renderings have also been released, revealing additional exterior details of the buildings as well as the landscaped greenery and waterfront esplanade. The buildings’ addresses are 52-03 and 52-41 Center Boulevard.
