Construction is nearing completion on 15 Beekman Street, a 27-story campus expansion for Pace University in the Financial District. Designed by Manish Chadha of Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by SL Green Realty, the 338-foot-tall tower will yield 213,084 square feet with classrooms, dorm rooms, a dining facility, library, and learning center. New Line Structures & Development is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 126-132 Nassau Street and located at the corner of Beekman and Nassau Streets.

435 West 19th Street Completes Construction in Chelsea, Manhattan

Construction is complete on 435 West 19th Street, an eight-story residential conversion and expansion in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by Rand Engineering and Architecture and developed by Churchill Real Estate Holdings, the project involved the construction of a three-story steel-framed expansion atop a former warehouse building and the repurposing of its interiors to yield 21 condominium units with an average scope of 1,400 square feet. Project 19 High Line LLC is the owner and CORE Real Estate is handling sales and marketing for the property, which is located between Ninth and Tenth Avenues. Sales have launched and homes range in price from $1.15 million for a studio, while a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom penthouse unit costs $7 million.

Designed by ADG Architecture and Design and developed by Madison Realty Capital and Alex Forkosh of Forkosh Development Group under the ASF 61 LLC, the project involves a 30-foot vertical addition to the 130-foot-tall structure and the conversion of its 66,200 square feet of interiors to support 35 condominium units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, as well as 8,180 square feet of retail space on the ground floor and mezzanine level. Honest & Quality Corp. is the general contractor for the property, which is located between First and Second Avenues.
