United Arab Emirates Consulate Tops Out at 315 East 46th Street in Midtown East

Construction has topped out at 315 East 46th Street in the Midtown East neighborhood of Turtle Bay. The site was once planned as 25-story condominium tower, but the project was scrapped due to financial issues during the early years of the Great Recession. Now, nearly ten years later, the property is heading toward completion as the nine-story home of the consulate of the United Arab Emirates. The reinforced concrete structure is being designed by Skidmore Owings & Merrill and developed by Fisher Brothers. Plaza Construction is building the 145-foot tall tower and will soon begin to install the curtain wall.

YIMBY Tours The Residences at 111 Leroy Street in the West Village

Work on 111 Leroy Street in the West Village is making steady progress. The upcoming 10-story project, which is located between Hudson Street and Greenwich Street, is being designed by Workshop APD and developed by Property Markets Group. There will be nine full-floor condominiums, called The Residences, and five adjacent single-family townhomes, called The Houses. Douglas Elliman is in charge of marketing and sales of the 14 residential units.

One Clinton Street Tops Out Above Brooklyn Heights

One Clinton Street aka 280 Cadman Plaza West recently topped out at 36 stories over Brooklyn Heights. The mixed-use residential building is being designed by Marvel Architects and developed by Hudson Companies. The 295,000-square-foot project will include 134 residential units and One Clinton Street Library, a new public library that is replacing the former Brooklyn Heights Library. The tower is situated on a triangular-shaped plot at the confluence of Clinton Street, Tillary Street, and Cadman Plaza West. At 409 feet, it is currently the tallest structure in the neighborhood.
