One Willoughby Square’s Glass Curtain Installation Begins in Downtown Brooklyn
Installation of the curtain wall has begun at One Willoughby Square, aka 420 Albee Square, in Downtown Brooklyn. The first row of industrial-style glass panels is now in place on the second floor of the 34-story, 495-foot-tall reinforced concrete skyscraper, joining the other windows already installed on the eastern and northern elevations. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by JEMB Realty, the topped-out project currently holds the title of the tallest new office building in Brooklyn, and will yield 500,000 square feet of Class A office space. Gilbane Building Company is in charge of construction.
