Construction is coming to a close on the Northern Tower, a 13-story hotel and residential building at 35-32 Leavitt Street in Flushing, Queens. Designed by Raymond Chan Architect and developed by Century Development Group, which signed an agreement in late 2016 with Starwood Hotels & Resorts, the 152-foot-tall mixed-use structure will span 228,000 square feet, with around 101,000 square feet for a 244-room Westin hotel, 2,270 square feet for community facility use, and 42,100 square feet of residential space. The residential component comprise 49 condominium units on the top three floors. The property is alternately addressed as 137-61 Northern Boulevard and located at the corner of Northern Boulevard and Leavitt Street.

New renderings have been revealed for 20 Carbon Place, a 12-story residential building on the border of the Greenville and Bergen-Lafayette neighborhoods on the western side of Jersey City, New Jersey. Designed by L+Z Architecture DPC and developed by Twenty Carbon Place Corp., the 138-foot-tall structure will yield 547 market-rate rental units, 276 enclosed parking spaces, 292 bicycle parking spaces, 950 square feet of ground-floor retail space, 14,000 square feet of amenities, and an 8,516-square-foot public plaza. The 76,717-square-foot property is located by the intersection of Carbon Place and West Side Avenue.

Construction is progressing on 255 East 77th Street, a 500-foot-tall residential skyscraper in the Lenox Hill section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Robert A. M. Stern Architects with Hill West Architects as the architect of record and developed by Naftali Group, the 36-story structure will span 170,481 square feet and yield 62 condominium units in two- to five-bedrooms layouts, as well as 3,861 square feet of retail space, two cellar levels, and 33 enclosed parking spaces. The property is alternately addressed as 1481 Second Avenue and located at the corner of Second Avenue and East 77th Street.
