Work on the foundation and retaining walls is underway at 302 Broadway in South Williamsburg, Brooklyn in preparation for a six-story mixed-use building. Designed by Brooklyn-based design firm PAUL and developed by Kazi Billah, the 26,070-square-foot project will stand 65 feet tall and contain 5,790 square feet of ground-floor retail space, 5,790 square feet of medical offices on the second floor, a 12-car garage on the third floor, and 24 units from the fourth to sixth floors.

YIMBY Checks in on Manuel Glas’ Mixed-Use Tower at 1059 Third Avenue on the Upper East Side

The curtain wall is steadily rising at 1059 Third Avenue, a topped-out 481-foot-tall mixed-use tower on the Upper East Side. Designed by Manuel Glas Architects and developed by Real Estate Inverlad and Third Palm Capital, the reinforced concrete structure rises 30 stories and will yield 127,000 square feet. There will be a total of 38 condominiums spread over 103,900 square feet of residential space, averaging around 2,740 square feet apiece. Excavation Work Nearing Completion at 159 Broadway in Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Excavation work for the foundations of 159 Broadway in Williamsburg, Brooklyn is nearing completion. Excavators have extracted a large amount of dirt from the property, which sits directly next to the 144-year-old landmarked Williamsburgh Savings Bank. The 26-story mixed-use residential project, which is designed by Stonehill & Taylor Architects and developed by Cornell Realty Management LLC, will yield 133,340 square feet and stand 277 feet tall.

Renzo Piano’s 565 Broome Soho Receiving Finishing Touches As Exterior Work Now Fully Complete

The tallest residential building in SoHo, at 565 Broome Street, is rapidly heading for full completion. The two-towered structure is Pritzker Prize-winning Renzo Piano Building Workshop’s first residential project in New York City. Bizzi & Partners Development, Aronov Development and Halpern Real Estate Ventures are the developers. The building is comprised of 115 one- to four-bedroom condominiums, with interiors designed by Parisian firm Rena Dumas Architecture Interieure (RDAI). Douglas Elliman Development Marketing is handling the sales and marketing.
