Developed by Midwood Investment & Development and EJS Group, the 17-story residential building is located at the corner of East 78th Street and Lexington Avenue on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The property will contain 25 units, which will average 2,600 square feet apiece.

Construction is getting close to topping out on 1230 Madison Avenue, a Robert A.M. Stern Architects-designed residential building on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The reinforced concrete superstructure has risen quickly since YIMBY’s early February update and will soon reach its 208-foot pinnacle. Developed by Real Estate Equities Corporation with SLCE Architects as the architect of record, the 20-story project is located in the neighborhood of Carnegie Hill on the same parcel as the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum.

Beckford House and Tower Near Completion on the Upper East Side

Construction is nearing the finish line on Beckford House and Beckford Tower, a pair of residential buildings in the Yorkville section of Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Crews are almost completely done installing the fenestration of Brynne Brownstone and Indiana Limestone on both the 19-story, 215-foot-tall Beckford House, located at 301 East 81st Street and also addressed as 1562 Second Avenue, and the 29-story Beckford Tower at 301 East 80th Street. The project is designed by Studio Sofield and SLCE Architects and developed by Icon Realty Management, with CM & Associates in charge of construction management.

Exterior work is progressing steadily at 1059 Third Avenue, a 481-foot-tall mixed-use tower on Manhattan’s Upper East Side. Designed by Manuel Glas Architects and developed by Real Estate Inverlad and Third Palm Capital, the slender 30-story superstructure is located between 62nd Street and 63rd Street and will yield a total of 127,000 square feet of newly built space. Inside will be 38 condominiums spread across 103,900 square feet, averaging around 2,740 square feet apiece.

Installation of 323 East 61st Street‘s signature etched glass curtain wall has begun as work continues on the Upper East Side project. Memorial Sloan Kettering is set to lease the entire six-story structure, which is designed by Daniel Goldner Architects and developed by LaSalle Investment Management and William Macklowe Company. Located between First and Second Avenues, the building stands 74 feet tall and will yield 61,740 square feet, of which 49,750 square feet will be dedicated to community facilities.
