10-Story Condominium Project Partially Revealed At 221 West 17th Street, Chelsea

A glimpse of Delshah Capital’s planned 10-story, 14-condo-unit luxury residential building at 221 West 17th Street, in southern Chelsea, is now available. The project will expand the existing six-story commercial building by four stories and the new building will measure about 40,000 square feet, including the retail at street level. Dubbed “The Dorian”, occupancy is expected by late 2016, and Neal Beckstedt Studio is designing interiors.

Moinian Group Offers a Look Inside 3 Hudson Boulevard

The Moinian Group has released a video revealing the gardens and interiors of 3 Hudson Boulevard, the 1,050-foot-tall tower headed for Eleventh Avenue between 34th and 35th Streets. The 3-D animated video offers a new daytime look at the exterior, the partially built Hudson Boulevard Park and yet-to-open 7 train extension at the base of the tower, and the stark white lobby.

Proposed Changes To Four Seasons Restaurant Go Over Like Lead Balloon At Landmarks

The Four Seasons Restaurant is a New York City icon within a New York City icon (the Seagram Building) and to say proposed changes to it were unwelcomed by the members of the Landmarks Preservation Commission would be the understatement of the week. The building, located at 375 Park Avenue / 99 East 52nd Street, was completed in 1958 and the restaurant opened one year later. They are the product of legendary architects Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Philip Johnson, along with the firm of Kahn & Jacobs. The restaurant is a symbol of New York’s power and greatness. Most of us will never dine there, but those who have consider its spaces basically sacred.
