Developed by New York hotelier Sam Chang, a new 180,000-square-foot Hyatt Place has officially topped-out, yielding one of the largest hospitality developments in the Garment District and Times Square neighborhoods of Midtown, Manhattan.
CTBUH, the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat, has announced the 2018 pool of winners from its 16th Annual Tall Buildings Award Program. Out of nearly 50 finalists from 28 countries, the awards jury selected the American Copper Buildings in New York City for the top honor.
Progress is moving forward on a new rental building in the heart of Midtown. After topping out in November 2017, 1050 Sixth Avenue’s glass and façade installation have now reached halfway up. The 24-story building is rising half a block away from Bryant Park. Skyline Developers is responsible for the project.
