The Elisa Nears Completion at 251 West 14th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan

Construction is nearing completion on The Elisa, an 11-story residential building at 251 West 14th Street in Chelsea. Designed by Isay Weinfeld Architects, the structure will yield 25 condominium units in one- to three-bedroom layouts with sales and marketing led by Bianca D’Alessio, Christian Haag, and Mia Calabrese of Nest Seekers and SERHANT. Prices range from $1.45 million to $5 million for the four-bedroom penthouse. Pizzarotti is the general contractor for the property, which is located on an interior lot between Seventh and Eighth Avenues near the border of the West Village and the Meatpacking District.

Housing Lottery Waitlist Launches for 42 West 33rd Street in Midtown, Manhattan

The affordable housing lottery has launched for Solari, a 41-story residential building at 42 West 33rd Street in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Stephen B. Jacobs Group and developed by The Torkian Group in 2018, the structure yields 223 residences. The waiting list is open to fill three studios and one one-bedroom available now and for future vacancies, ranging in eligible income from $32,778 to $91,500.

Monogram New York Nears Completion At 135 East 47th Street in Midtown East, Manhattan

Construction is nearing completion on Monogram New York, a 35-story residential skyscraper at 135 East 47th Street in Midtown East. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Navigation Capital Group, the 500-foot-tall structure will yield 191 condominium units designed by Shanghai-based Neri & Hu in studio to four-bedroom penthouse layouts, as well as 5,000 square feet of ground-floor retail space. Anthology Group is the hospitality partner and Cauldwell Wingate is the general contractor for the tower, which was formerly addressed as 131-141 East 47th Street and is located between Lexington and Third Avenues.

FIT’s New Academic Building Nears Completion at 220 West 28th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan

Work is nearing completion on Fashion Institute of Technology‘s ten-story New Academic Building at 220 West 28th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by SHoP Architects, the 110,000-square-foot structure is engineered to LEED Gold standards and will yield new classrooms, administrative offices, review and exhibition spaces, and a student quad illuminated by skylights. Forte Construction Corp. is the general contractor for the property, which stands on a shallow plot between Seventh and Eighth Avenues on the northernmost edge of the FIT campus.

Mulligan Security Expands Lease At 7 Penn Plaza In Chelsea, Manhattan

National real estate investment firm The Feil Organization has announced that private security and fire safety contractor Mulligan Security has expanded its lease at 7 Penn Plaza in Chelsea, Manhattan. The company will extend its lease for 12 years and expand its footprint by 15,788 square feet, bringing its total occupancy to 24,788 square feet.

278 Eighth Avenue Finishes Up Construction in Chelsea, Manhattan

Construction is finishing up on 278 Eighth Avenue, a 14-story mixed-use residential building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Alchemy-ABR Investment Partners and Chelsea 23rd Realty Corporation, an LLC affiliated with JJ Operating, the 175-foot-tall structure will yield 132,700 square feet with 190 rental apartments and multiple levels of retail space. Square Mile Capital and Pacific Western Bank provided $183 million in construction financing for the project, which is being constructed by Leeding Builders Group between West 23rd and West 24th Streets.

New Rendering Spotted For 280 Eighth Avenue in Chelsea, Manhattan

YIMBY spotted a new rendering amidst excavation at 280 Eighth Avenue, an upcoming 10-story mixed-use residential building in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by SLCE Architects and developed by Red Apple Group under the RA 280 Development LLC, the future 113-foot-tall structure will yield 58,021 square feet. Components include 52,432 square feet designated for residential space split among 64 rental units averaging 819 square feet apiece, 4,642 square feet for commercial space, 947 square feet for community facility space, a cellar level, and a 24-foot-long rear yard. Archstone Builders, LLC is the general contractor for the property, which is situated at the corner of Eighth Avenue and West 24th Street.

Excavation Underway at 656 Lexington Avenue in Midtown East, Manhattan

Excavation is underway at 656 Lexington Avenue, the site of a 19-story residential building in Midtown East, Manhattan. Designed by Zproekt Architecture and developed by Sergey Rybak under the 660 Lexington Avenue Development LLC, the 233-foot-tall structure will span 52,558 square feet and yield 23 condominium units with an average scope of 2,123 square feet, as well as 2,551 square feet of commercial space, 1,174 square feet of community facility space, and a cellar level. Rybak Development Corp. is the general contractor for the property, which is alternately addressed as 133 East 55th Street and located at the corner of Lexington Avenue and East 55th Street.

$151.4M Capitalization Secured For 335 Eighth Avenue In Chelsea, Manhattan

JLL Capital Markets has arranged a $151.4 million capitalization for 335 Eighth Avenue, a seven-story mixed-use building under construction in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by COOKFOX and developed by MAG Partners and Safanad, the structure will yield 188 units with 30 percent reserved for low- and middle-income residents, as well as over 30,000 square feet of amenities, 25,461 square feet of retail space, and 1,150 square feet of community facility space. Financing was secured from Bank OZK and MetLife Investment Management for the project, which broke ground in October 2023.

Cushman & Wakefield Appointed Leasing Agent For PENN 2 Office Tower In Midtown, Manhattan
