Construction is wrapping up on 7-9 East 30th Street, a 227-foot-tall residential building in the Midtown, Manhattan neighborhood of NoMad. Designed by SWA Architecture and Efrain Perez, and developed by Castellan Real Estate Partners, the 23-story reinforced concrete edifice will yield 41,992 square feet with 54 residences and 2,142 square feet of ground-level retail space. Sales for the homes are being handled by Reuveni Real Estate and average 1,700 square feet. The most affordable unit is a two-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home measuring 1,677 square feet for $2,375,000, and the most expensive is a three-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom penthouse residence spanning 3,354 square feet for $9,995,000. 30 East 31st Street is located between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue South.

Excavation Progresses at 155-165 West 29th Street in Chelsea, Manhattan

Excavation has begun at 155-165 West 29th Street, the site of a 17-story self-storage facility in Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by Mancini Duffy and developed by Highland Development Ventures LLC and The Davis Companies, which purchased the land in early 2021 for $62.5 million, the nearly 180,00-square-foot structure will stand 223 feet tall between Sixth and Seventh Avenues. Div West 29th Street LLC is the owner, Cauldwell Wingate is the contractor, and McNamara Salvia is the structural engineer for the project. Construction financing totals $84 million and was provided by Santander Bank, N.A. and United Overseas Bank.
