Exterior work is still wrapping up on Madison House, an 805-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 126 Madison Avenue in NoMad and number 13 on our countdown of the tallest projects under construction in the city. Alternately addressed as 15 East 30th Street, the 62-story tower is designed by Handel Architects and developed by Fosun Group and JD CarlisleDouglas Elliman is handling sales and marketing of the 199 condominiums, which will all sit atop an additional 7,500 square feet of ground-floor retail space.

Façade installation is progressing on 3 Sutton Place, a 847-foot-tall residential skyscraper at 430 East 58th Street in Midtown East and number 15 on our countdown of the tallest construction projects underway in New York. Designed by Thomas Juul-Hansen and developed by Gamma Real Estate with Stephen B. Jacobs Group as the executive architect, the 62-story tower is located between Sutton Place South and First Avenue and will yield a total of 121 residential units. The site is a short distance away from the East River and the Sutton Place Park North esplanade.

Renderings from Bruno Kearney Architects reveal a new TD Bank retail location within the historic Brill Building at 1619 Broadway in Midtown, Manhattan. Located on the corner of West 49th Street, the property was originally constructed around 1931 and was designated a landmark in 2010 for its ornate Art Deco façade. The prominence of the building requires approval of all proposed work by the Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC).

New York Korea Center’s Distinctive Form Taking Shape at 122-126 East 32nd Street in Murray Hill

Construction is continuing on the New York Korea Center, a highly distinctive 120-foot-tall building at 122-126 East 32nd Street in Murray Hill. Designed by Samoo Architects and Engineers (SAMOO) for Level Group, the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in New York, purchased the property for $15.8 million in March 2008, including the use of nearly 4,500 square feet of air rights. The project, which broke ground in June 2018, is planned to yield 36,500 square feet.
