Back in 2014, YIMBY reported on job applications for a new development at 86 Delancey Street, on the Lower East Side. Preliminary renderings were released late last year, and now the first actual images of the building are out, which will rise 12 floors to its rooftop.
Back in July of 2015, YIMBY reported on applications for a new hotel at 88 Walker Street, on the southwestern edge of Chinatown. Now, work has begun on the site, and we have the reveal for the building that is about to replace the empty lot.
With East New York’s rezoning now finalized, YIMBY recently revealed one of the first big developments coming to the neighborhood, at 1427-1429 Loring Avenue. Permits were also recently filed for a new complex at 3301 Atlantic Avenue/250 Euclid Avenue, at the end of January. Now, we have the first rendering for that building as well, which is being designed by Dattner Architects.
Permits were previously filed for a new hotel development at 38-65 11th Street on the periphery of Long Island City back in 2014, but the site has appeared stalled since then. Despite the lack of follow-up at the Department of Buildings, YIMBY now has a reveal for the design, which will result in one of the more attractive new hotels coming to the neighborhood.
Back in 2015, Tishman bought a nine-story parking garage at 110 East 16th Street, next to Union Square, for $35 million. Now, YIMBY has the reveal for its imminent transformation, which will result in an attractive 21-story condominium building designed by Morris Adjmi.
