The Turtle Bay outpost of AKA’s condo-style extended-stay residences is getting a revamp, and the company sent along renderings of the new interiors for the 21-story tower at 234 East 46th Street.
Rents along Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights are heating up fast, and new residential construction is finally starting to catch up. YIMBY discovered this rendering on the fence at 730 Franklin Avenue, where a six-story apartment building is in the works.
The Naftali Group’s 20-story luxury condominium project at 234 East 23rd Street, in Gramercy, has risen quickly since construction began last year. The new building consists of 57 units, and now YIMBY has fresh renderings of the penthouse.
In December, foundation work began on the 50-story, 974-unit mixed-use building planned at 43-25 Hunter Street, in Long Island City’s Court Square. Rebar and concrete have now reached the second story of the 786,105 square-foot building, which will feature 18,800 square feet of retail, according to The Court Square Blog. Rockrose is developing, and SLCE is the architect. YIMBY revealed renderings in 2014, and completion is scheduled for the middle of 2017.
Last fall, YIMBY revealed four new brick townhouses at 127-131 South 1st Street in Williamsburg, and now excavation has begun at the site between Berry Street and Bedford Avenue.
