Permits have been filed for two four-story mixed-use building at 516 and 518 East 147th Street, in Mott Haven, The Bronx. The buildings are five blocks away from the 3rd Avenue 149th Street Subway Station, serviced by the 2 and 5 trains. Saint Mary’s Park is also half a block away, providing recreational space for various sports activities. Owner Avi Baranes will be responsible for the project.
Permits have been filed for three 3-story structures at 115, 117, and 121 Bay 23rd Street in Bath Beach, Brooklyn. The site is an avenue away from the 20th Avenue subway station, serviced by the D trains. An anonymous LLC is listed as the party behind the applications.
Last week, YIMBY was taken on a tour of 175 Greenwich Street, aka 3 World Trade Center, visiting the rooftop, the terrace, and the lobby. The building, located in the heart of the Financial District, has made incredible progress, with the façade now complete save for windows connected to the exterior hoist. Interior work is also approaching the finish line.
